Description | Edo Bronze Pair of Buddhist Lions. The dark bronze patina on both is made as incensors, the lid to the interior is center of the back at shoulder height. Each is individually made and fitted to the opening. Each Lion with a reverse posture of the other with the foot resting on an open work ball. Size of each 12" tall, 14" long , 6 3/4" wide. 19th century lost wax casting. |
