John Wenger, ( 1887-1976) Born in Russia arrived U.S. 1903.  Renouned stage set designer Met opera, Boston opera, Ritz theater, Zigfield,Capital, Rialto and many many others. Represented in many museum collections and private collections,  exhibited widely.  Credited with the invention and use of scrim on stage. This small landscape is oil on board from around the late 20's to 30's and framed in the period frame. It is stamped with the estate seal.  Image size 10" wide, 8" tall.
