Nishan Toor Sculpture of Horseback Warrior in Plaster.  Toor born in Armenia migrates to America ( 1888-1966)  Horseback rider with multiple guns blazing away as Vultures flock in the storm that precedes his fury.   A plaster studio maquette for production, overpainted in metallic aluminum paint, now aged and crackled, some ambering of shade. Classic 1930"s romantic hero in the vogue of Buck Rogers, sci-fi characters.  size 24" tall, base 20" wide by 7 1/2" deep.
